Realme has officially introduced the realme 15X 5G, expanding its 15 series lineup. The device emphasizes durability, performance, and battery life, targeting users seeking a feature-rich midrange 5G smartphone. While the phone is confirmed for the Indian market, there is no official release date for the United States at this time.

The realme 15X 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits peak brightness. Touch response reaches up to 180Hz, providing smooth interaction for gaming and scrolling. It is powered by MediaTek’s 6nm Dimensity 6300 processor paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Buyers can choose between 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with realme’s Dynamic RAM expansion adding up to 10GB virtually. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB (UFS 2.2), expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

On the software side, the device runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0. The company has committed to two generations of Android version upgrades. Security and convenience features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Both the rear and front cameras are 50MP, a substantial jump from the previous generation’s 8MP selfie sensor. The rear unit uses Sony’s IMX852 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, while the front relies on OmniVision’s OV50D40 with f/2.4 aperture.

Durability is another key highlight. The realme 15X 5G carries both IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance. For audio, the phone includes a bottom-firing Ultra-Linear speaker that supports “400% Ultra Volume” amplification.

Battery performance is among its strongest selling points. The device houses a 7000mAh cell, one of the largest in its class, and supports 60W SUPERVOOC fast charging. An 80W charger is included in the box for added flexibility.

Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA with multiple band support, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C. The phone weighs 212g and measures 8.28mm in thickness.

In India, pricing starts at ₹16,999 (~$204) for the 6GB + 128GB model, ₹17,999 (~$216) for 8GB + 128GB, and ₹19,999 (~$240) for 8GB + 256GB. Color options include Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red. Sales begin October 1, 2025, through Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail partners, with launch offers available until October 5. No official availability was yet announced for other markets.
