We’re well into October, which means Halloween season is in full swing. Spooky season used to mean binge-watching all the horror classics every day of the month until the big night. Now that I’m the father of a little kid, I’ve had to be mindful of the scary entertainment I play at home. This year, I’ve decided to introduce her to the gateway show that made me a die-hard horror fan.

Yes, I am talking about Scooby-Doo.

Warner Bros. Discovery began its annual month-long Scooby celebration, aptly titled Scoobtober, at the beginning of October. You can watch the event’s stacked lineup on Cartoon Network, Boomerang or MeTV Toons. And if you’ve cut the cord, it’s streaming on Sling, YouTube TV and Hulu Plus Live TV. Plus, a brand-new Lofi Scooby-Doo album dropped in time for this year’s Scoobtober to help you get in the spirit of the season.

If you’re looking for the best Scooby-Doo shows that are available to be streamed right now, I’ve got you covered. Read on to see where you can watch everyone’s favorite meddling kids fight monsters and solve cases. It’s the right thing to do.

Hanna-Barbera Productions

The original that started it all is still the best Scooby-Do show, if you ask me. This is the series that introduced that iconic theme song and showed viewers the logic behind each case, no matter how supernatural or downright creepy they seemed. These were fun episodes that had just enough scares in them to give the show a little edge. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! ran for three seasons and helped shape and evolve cartoon entertainment.

Warner Bros. Animation

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated premiered in 2010 and initially ran for two seasons on Cartoon Network. The series, now streaming on both Netflix and Sling, has the gang continue to investigate a range of monster mysteries. However, it features a more dramatic tone, darker subject matter and explores a serial narrative format with a single storyline unfolding over the course of both seasons.

Hanna-Barbera Productions

The Scooby-Doo Show premiered on ABC in 1976, and followed the narrative format of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! It continued to follow the gang as they pursued spooky cases, and it introduced a new dog to the mix: Scooby’s cousin Scooby-Dum, who didn’t remain for long (he simply wasn’t very popular).

Warner Bros. Animation

What’s New, Scooby-Doo? aired for three seasons, from 2002 to 2006, and helped introduce the gang to a new generation of viewers. The series features a sleeker animation style than its predecessors and follows the classic monster mystery format that made Scooby so popular to begin with. Considering the era in which it premiered, the show feels somewhat inspired by The X-Files, which ended its run the same year What’s New, Scooby-Doo? premiered.
