The best Galaxy S25 Ultra deal just got better: get it for just $850 with double storage for Black Friday

If you’ve been weighing up buying the Galaxy S25 Ultra versus waiting for the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, then Samsung’s Black Friday deal might just tempt you into an early purchase.

The official retailer has just unveiled the best deal I’ve seen yet on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with a free storage upgrade and your choice between either a trade-in rebate of up to $750, or a $450 upfront discount.

Of the various promotions here, it’s the combination of the storage upgrade and upfront discount that’s caught my eye. Right now, you can get a 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra for just $850 upfront, which is pretty incredible considering this is the top-tier device from the brand.

For reference, at $850, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is only $50 more than the standard iPhone 17. While it’s a slight case of apples and oranges, the Galaxy S25 Ultra looks like an incredible value here with its massive display and advanced camera array.

In terms of unlocked phone deals, I don’t see much touching this Samsung Black Friday deal on the Galaxy S25 Ultra this Black Friday, either. Amazon may feature a similar price cut, but it’s unlikely it’ll feature on the expanded 512GB storage variant; which is a real selling point of the official Samsung Store’s promotion this week.

We’re seeing plenty of excellent Black Friday phone deals right now, but this one is probably my favorite unlocked deal so far. It beats a lot of other choices right now, solely because you don’t need to trade in or sign up for a super-expensive long-term plan to be eligible. You can simply get a cheap(er) Galaxy S25 Ultra and port it over to the carrier of your choice.
