Apple’s big seasonal gifting event will be back for 2025, and if you’re specifically looking at picking up an iPhone 17, the good news is all these new flagships will be included.
Starting November 28th, you’ll be able to get a gift card of up to $75 in value alongside a new phone. That’s a deal that stacks with the usual trade-in rebates of up to $670 in value, which remains the best (and arguably only) deal for unlocked iPhones.
Apple’s Black Friday iPhone 17 deal
If you’re looking for big discounts on the latest iPhones, then your best choice right now is generally at the main carriers. T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all have Black Friday iPhone deals right now with discounts that are actually big enough, in some cases, to cover the entire cost of a phone.

Note that the big carrier deals this week require a pricey unlimited plan, so trading-in for an unlocked device at Apple is still the way to go if you want a cheaper prepaid plan.
